Mako becomes a god

A top the peak of Mount Hakobe, stood a lone figure shrouded in black clothes, the wind whipped his black cloak in random directions, and beneath him were the corpses of the many creatures who had wished to give him fight on his ascent. Mako looked out at the pools of blood that mingled with the white snow and ran down the crevices of the mountain into the opening where the demon Rishomon laid in his icy tomb. They were all sacrifices meant to fulfill his end in becoming the greatest Wizard in the world, and rival the strength of the gods themselves. All he had to do was resurrect the great beast and destroy it, drawing his power into himself. The only issue he had come to is there wasn't quite enough potent magical blood flowing into the demons resting spot. Luckily, for Mako, he always thought ahead, having slipped a small amount of info into the ears of the local Guild he would have the sacrifices necessary for his ultimate plot, all he had to do was wait.

Blue Pegasus, he knew not nor cared little of the strength of this guild. All he knew is that there would be a fleet of wizards coming to stop him and that he would use his illegal darkness magic to take their lives and feed them to his pet. In doing so he would succeed.

Mako waited the shadows around him licked out, he could not sense much of the coming force he assumed would be coming to stop him though he knew they stood no chance. He laughed maniacally echoing off into the strong wind. In his mind he held no other thoughts other than the goal at hand. So when he sensed the approach of a wizard nearly as powerful if not more than himself he would become elated. The seepage of magical energy that would exude from their fight would be all it took to blast his plan into motion. He would call this day the Endgame to his plans that have been years in the making. He readied a dark spear formed from his shadow in anticipation for what would be coming.

(I know darkness is banned so i am prepared to not fight but instead just get beat, Hubris and all, but the removal of my magic is paramount to the story so I don't think it will be an issue, mostly just a roleplay where i am knocked down a few pegs)

The treterous Mt. Hakobe. Covered in a wild blizzard. The Blue Pegasus guild master, wearing a pure white furry snow suit with her tempest breaker in the form of a simple rapier, at her waist. She trekked the steep mountain along the carved out path. As she did so, she could smell the scent of blood in the air, though very faint, it was still there. Now, why would the busy devil slayer be in such a dangerous terrain? It was simple really.

3 hours ago...

Rin was sitting at the bar in the Blue Pegasus guild hall, having some juice, when her father's most trusted old friend, Leon the bartender. Told Rin about a dark wizard causing trouble on Mt. hakobe. Hearing this, the guild master couldn't simply leave a dark wizard to do God knows what up there. And so...

Back to the present

Here she was. She had given Leon instructions to not let any of the guild members catch wind of this news. Something about this information seemed fishy and so, being the powerhouse Rin was, she went alone to the place of interest. It took the devil slayer roughly two hours until she caught the smell of another person. The magical power she sensed from this person, was close to her level of prowess. Rin could now clearly see the blood she had smelt earlier trickling down the sides of the mountain, mixing with the pure white snow. "Lightning step." she said quietly before teleporting up the rest of the way and arriving right behind the person who was standing atop countless dead bodies of different mountain inhabitant creatures, native to the area. It seemed the man had yet to sense Rin was behind him. Giving Rin the opportunity to launch a sneak attack. However, that just wasn't Rin's style. Instead, the devil slayer, quietly gathered lightning into the palm of her hand and approached the dark figure stealthily. "Alright there buddy, you're gonna tell me what your purpose is for killing these creatures and causing so much blood shed on this mountain. Oh, and if you even try to turn around and attack me, the lightning in my hand will shock you full of 300 volts of electricity before you can make an attack connect with my body now spill!" Rin said all this in a cold, low, and threatening voice. Though she didn't know if it would actually work on this guy or not.

(OOC: that's fine. And for the record, the only darkness magic that's banned, is the kind that master zero from oracion seis uses. Shadow magic, is completely fine. Just remember, this thread takes place BEFORE, you're GM of Crime Sorciere, understand?)

Mako dove forward the moment he felt the energy transference.  The hairs on the back of his neck stood up from the electrical discharge that RIn would make.  He would connect his shoulder to the soft snowy ground and roll forward, He would end his tumble on a knee 10 feet away from Rin facing her.   The big wicked grimace on his face telling Rin that he was out of his mind, drunk with power and too goal oriented to see 10 minutes ahead.  He would would proceed to stand and angle his elbow up in front of him and clench his fist. He was ready for whatever might happen next.

"I owe you no explanation for my actions she-elf, and therefore you will receive none, proceed to die,"  Mako would then say to the woman. He had long black hair and black robes his eyes beaded on hers.


His mind was swirling with madness for all he had ever though about was the power he wished to obtain.  It had been ages since he had even thought of his childhood, or his parents.  He had no friends to rely on or even people that he had talked to.  He was alone in the world, all he had was himself and his power, and the power of the mighty Ice demon Rishomon.  And when this woman attacked him with magic he would be one step closer to being connected with his only friend.

Rin watched as the fell to to the ground and rolled ten feet away from her before standing up and facing her with a wicked grin and a pure evil look in his eyes. Rin could immediately tell this man was completely drunk with power. However, judging by the fact that he took a martial arts stance of sorts, instead of taking a normal one that a person would take to cast magic, it made Rin think two things. One, he was either conserving his magic, or two, he couldn't use magic for some reason. The man had clearly stated that he had no reason to explain himself to her and that she should prepare to die. Rin just sighed almost audibly before disappearing in a flash of white lightning only to silently reappear behind the man. With one swift movement, she attempted to strike the pressure point in his neck with the back of her hand. Which if succeeded in doing so, it would knock the man out for about an hour or so, giving Rin plenty of time to think of a plan.

Mako would attempt to react to the white lightning movement of the Elven woman, who at this point he had figured out was easily either an S rank wizard or possibly a guild master though he did not know to what guild her allegiance was owed. Her movements and attacks included minimal magical output and high close range capability. So when the woman became a lightning bolt once again and traveled at the speed of light he made an attempt to react. He could assume the attack was coming from somewhere behind but given the difference in size making any assumption where she would land would be pointless. So instead he would just attempt to turn exposing his side to the bolt of electricity in its movements. Though it would appear his movement was just simply not quick enough to stop the attack he would receive. The attack hit his neck and he felt his body go numb, he knew that in short order he would no longer be conscious, and he still needed more energy to activate his secret weapon.

Mako could see his dreams crumbling before him in the blackness that would wash over him. He lost all attachment to the world around him and slumped to his knees and fell face forward bent over halfway in the snow. His last thoughts were of the warmth and telling himself that maybe the demon would activate without his express wishes, maybe the lady would put off enough energy to slingshot his plan into motion. Nonetheless, whatever happened he would be out cold for a short period of time.
